Our proprietary line of double guns come from a region in Turkey, Huglu-Beysehir-Konya with a history of fine gunmaking going back more than a century. Our artisans are typically third or fourth generation, among the country’s most experienced. Silver Eagle double guns combine the best aspects of modern, precision machining and traditional hand fitting and engraving.

Receivers and barrels are machined from solid carbon steel using state-of-the-art Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines, and all bores are plated with hard white chrome. Each gun is carefully fitted and assembled by hand, with rigorous quality control at every stage of production. The stocks are of old-growth Turkish (Circassian) Walnut, are dried naturally by air, not in a kiln, and completed with a durable and attractive hand-rubbed oil finish. All engraving is hand-chiseled, meaning that actually, no two guns are exactly alike.

Currently available in 12 gauge only.

This gun uses Huglu thread pattern choke tubes. Extended hunting and Skeet tubes are available on this web site, here: good, inexpensive choke tubes. Specialty after market chokes are available from Trulock, Carlson’s, Patternmaster, and Briley.

The gold ducks are striking. Light weight with good balance. Shoots flat to point of impact. Rear stock is slight to right to aid in sight picture. It has a barrel selector. It does not return to safety after firing a plus. It is a mechanical firing pins a plus. The chokes work well that it has but you only get one set. You need two sets to install two of the same choke. It came very tight but with oil and use is a well made peace. Mine was needing oil to the extreme. Most suited to skeet and sporting clays. I shot a 21 in trap. I like that features listed. They aid in reliability and shooting at the range for me. some guns have inertia firing pins. No auto ejectors. A safety that is always on to be turned off. And some guns have a serious case of being cheep and ugly. It would be nice to have a soft recoil pad of the correct type found on sheet guns. The rib if it were a little higher and have a center bead would make the head more upright and give sight picture options.
